Doing so will ensure that the Volunteer Coordinator is aware of your interest and will contact you to explore future possibilities. Volunteer: Camp Host

Camp Hosts play an important role in the operations of the park and are the front-line ambassadors for our guests. Pocomoke River State Park Camp Hosts are required to perform a minimum of 28 hours per week per registered host. Hosts are provided with a campsite that includes a 30 amp electric hookup.  Sites do not have water or sewer hookups.  Deer Run, Acorn Trail, and Milburn are pet-friendly camping loops.

Regular tasks include, but are not limited to:

Welcoming new campersKeeping the campsites cleanKeeping the campground in good conditionAnswering questions asked by campersLetting the campers know what is happening in the park/area over the period of the campers stay
